The weather has not exactly been friendly this autumn, but from what we had we made the most of!  The 20th Armed Forces Parachute Championships proved to be one of the best with a record number of competitors taking to some wonderful blue skies and a great competitive week and some amazing winners.  We actually managed to complete all rounds of every discipline with time to spare for some fun jumping.

The BPA CP Nationals in the Czech Republic saw great success for some of our skydivers with Red Devil, Lee Crudington taking 2nd place overall, the APA’s own Wez Westley taking 4th and Jase Hughes finished 6th in the country; each of them earning themselves a team GB slot for the 2020 World Cup!

More gold came from the Army Team Volt4ge at the BPA UK Nationals.  The team took gold in 4-way 2019 and ultimately won the 2019 Skydiving League winning gold in every one of the four competitions.   Having now completed their last competition of 2019, they can reflect on a massive achievement over the last two seasons. Ten competitions completed, 5 x Gold medals, 2 x Silver medals, 1 x Bronze medal and 2 x swords   A brilliant achievement so huge congratulations to everyone.

With some Load Organising weekends still to come to complete the year, our last jump for 2019 will be on the 15th December.  We re-open for jumping again on the 1st February when we hope blue skies will beckon and we can welcome both old faces and new skydivers looking for a new adventure!
